SLEEP KEEPER · DEVELOPMENT PROTOTYPE

Your night.
Your information.

Prototype privacy note · October 29, 2026

This describes the current Sleep Keeper Android prototype, version 0.2.0. It is not a public-release or store-submission privacy policy. Features and disclosures will need another review before release.

The Android prototype

You manually record sleep sessions and awake intervals. The journal and theme settings are stored locally in the app's private storage. This version has no account, advertising, analytics, internet permission, microphone access, camera access, or automatic sleep sensing. Its only declared Android permission is vibration for tap feedback.

Sleep Keeper records your estimates; it does not measure sleep stages, detect when you fall asleep, diagnose a condition, or provide medical advice.

Storage, correction, and deletion

You can review your session history and correct a completed sleep block's duration. The app marks edited durations while retaining original timestamps and the recorded window. Clearing app data or uninstalling the current prototype removes its local journal and settings.

Android automatic backup is disabled. Export and recovery are not implemented in this prototype. Do not rely on it as the only copy of an important record.

This website

This site explains the app and shows illustrative theme previews. Its example night is not a real person's sleep record. The theme picker and awake-button demonstration change the page only. They do not create a sleep journal or save a record to your browser.

The website source contains no advertising, analytics scripts, contact form, mailing-list collection, or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider may process normal technical request information to deliver and secure the site. Hosting access or sign-in requirements are separate from the Android app.

Before public release

The planned launch model is a $2.99 one-time app purchase including three themes, with optional additional themes priced at $0.99–$1.99 each. Purchases are not implemented in the current prototype. Any future store, billing, backup, network, or account features will require updated disclosures. A public support contact and final release privacy policy will be provided before a public app launch.
